it’s honest. that’s all that needs to be said about dylan. he’s never been anything else.
November 26, 2009 4:23 pm | #1beautifull. it’s quite similar to the version he plays in liverpool 09′ – would really like to see a live recording of that as well!
November 26, 2009 5:18 pm | #2Dylan is actually very rich. Perhaps grosses 100 grand a nite, irrespective of mood or effort put in. No offer to pay people’s travelling expenses.
November 26, 2009 6:08 pm | #3Great show, this song and some of the other slower ones, were moving and beautiful. Great venue, which made a difference, better than the Liverpool show which was bad atmosphere because of the security. Thanks for showing.
November 26, 2009 7:04 pm | #4Yes ’security’ scum do ruin shows and have ruined 1 or 2 of mine – control freaks. Yet if ur a blonde with big tits u get waved to front or even into dressing room. This is Clinton-style sex-power mania. Dylan should know better. He might have something explaining to do to baby jesus when the levee does finally break.
November 26, 2009 7:28 pm | #5I heard this song is sexist, but i couldnt give a shit. Michael Gray thinks Sweetheart Like You is ’suffocating reactionary nonsense’ but he doesnt get that the woman is no traditional housewife. Home doesnt mean home. I stay home, since 2000, for reasons including pidgin’s. But i think about & listen to dylan all the time. I breathe dylan. And crap dylan. I dont like having to go to 3 shows to see one good one.
November 26, 2009 7:30 pm | #6miktruk – I absolutely agree, I was in a similar position to you, and got a big dose of bass, no view of the stage and little else. To be honest I’m enjoying it more here on YouTube than I did at the gig itself, which confirms it was the venue, not Bob, which was crap on the night.
November 26, 2009 7:53 pm | #7Go see Celine Dion you loser if youre looking for vocal perfection–this is stunningly beautiful even as a mobile phone recording. No one delivers stuff like this–no one. If you dont like it, dont go and dont pull him up on youtube.
November 26, 2009 8:17 pm | #8Dylan has given nora jones singing lessons - for some Amazon thing 2005. She shits herself with awe. But her bum is nicer than dylan’s voice on I Shall Be Released, which my mum says, tittering, is ‘a horrible voice’. Doesnt mean she doesnt like him, tho. Just means he’s always had a cheek.
November 26, 2009 9:02 pm | #9Yep, absolutely agree… Dylan was cool… the venue was shit from where i was(suprisingly), it was a shame it clouded my judgement of the gig… but there you go!… am enjoying the youtube clips more as well.
