   borski67 i do not think ANYONE is better than Bob or The Beatles now. Someone somewhere on YT was saying some writer is better… i cannot even remember WHO they were trying to hold up to Dylan. No way. I have written folk songs for years – i am finally recording them and let me say – Dylan is ALWAYS the gold standard – you are always attempting to write a Dylan song, and that goes for some non-folk. After decades of studying him & writing – i say that with confidence. Thanks. Love you, Bob.

   i should say, it applies to MOST types of songs – maybe even all – i’d have to think harder on that one. Good writing is good writing.

   So true. No one is better. Hopefully we’ll have some musicians in the future to come at least close to halfway to Dylan and the Bealtes, but so far it’s not looking that way.

   Bob dylan is better. Bob is a god, im not saying the beatles are not but the beatles are not around anymore and bobby is still making albums.
