But what does that have to do with my original comment? Your explination is more or less what I think too. (I think he is not so much frustrated as he doesnt care becuase he views the chat as meaningless for the same reason you say he is frustrated)Either way he is snubbing the press by giving a short answer, which is all I was saying. There is not a lot you could have derived about my interpretation based off of those few words.

I understand you think hes a genius, but I still don’t think you have interpreted the video correctly…The interviewer gave meaning or a different meaning than what Bob had intended (or not intended) People tried to create meaning for everything Bob did, and surely not everything he did was well thought out and meaningful to him. This frustrated him, and this video shows his frustration toward the interviewers over interpretation. He gives short answers to avoid even talking about it.

I was responding to whisky9096, who called the man a genius for giving short answers to a jounrnalist who set her self up, by answering her own quesitons. But, once again, and I’ll word it differently for you, so you can comprehend: I think Dylan is a genius, but this isn’t an example of it; his lyrics are, his books are, and his more serious interviews are.I understand the interview, you didnt understand my comment, and you called me a dingbat…wtf.

..Snubbing the press isnt the sign of a genius..Although, Dylan IS a lyrical genius, and a very intelligent/wise person.
