Bob Dylan’s new album, Modern Times has a song called “When the Deal Goes Down”. I need the lyrics to this song. Please help.

Would anyone say that Bob Dylan’s song “With God on our Side” is an ironic and/ or sarcastic song?

Ok i know its ironic, but is it sarcastic… maybe not. i think im stretching it a little with sarcastic.

I am a Bob Dylan fan, and have not been able to find any real information about his personal life, such as: Is he married? To who? Does he have children? How many, and what can I find out about them? Where can I find photos of his wife and family? I am simply very curious about his “out of the public eye” life! Websites that I have visited offer little or no information. Where can I find stuff like this out?

It’s in the episode “Moonlight Desires” in season four. There’s a song playing in Dylan’s dorm room when Marco walks in on him in bed with another guy. Does anybody know the name of the song and the artist?

Every time I hear this song it takes on another meaning (I will give examples) Probably the most ridiculous song ever and that’s why I like it. Here are my points of view

1. Some people think it’s a tongue-in-cheek thing about a guy who’s finding out he’s a homosexual. (eg. “You walk into the room with your pencil in your hand” or “the sword swallower comes up to you and he kneels”), I try to shoot these acquasations cause it doesn’t make sense, but there are more examples like (“You see this one-eyed midget”).
2. Dylan’s response to the pressure of all the media and how they viewed him as this obscure person (“You hand in your ticket and you go watch the geek” or “You have many contacts, among the lumberjacks, to get you facts when someone attacks your imagination”)
3. Another topic of interest is who is Mr. Jones? Alot of people have said it is Brian Jones (of the Rolling Stones), but like most my theory is that the Jones’ are just a pun on “Keeping up with the Jones’”

I heard this song on the radio and can’t find the artist! I’m pretty sure the title is “Forever Young” (not Bob Dylan) Some Lyrics:

” Let’s start in style, let’s dance for a while,
Heaven can wait, we’re only watching the skies,
Hoping for the best and expecting the worst…”

“…forever young, i want to be forever young.
Do you really want to live forver, forever?

That’s probably not right but it’s all i can remember. Answers would be very much appreciated!

I totally heard it somewhere. I think it was on Pandora… It was a male singer. That’s all I can tell you.
