Bob Dylan ” Bootleg Series Vol. 6 Live 1964 ” Regular Vinyl Record Album Box Set

Product Description
Bob Dylan ” Bootleg Series Vol. 6 Live 1964 ” Regular Vinyl Record Album Box Set. Features a deluxe box housing three LP’s – each in unique jackets. Also included is a 60 pg 12 x 12 perfect bound booklet, and a custom 12″ x 8″ letter pressed vintage tour poster. Very strange to be hearing an official release of this historic concert, which has been available as a bootleg for decades. The Halloween gig at Philharmonic Hall in New York was a special part of the tour for Another Side of Bob Dylan, arguably his greatest acoustic recording. While the songs on Another Side hinted at things to come, nothing could have prepared audiences for the dreamy surrealism of “Mr. Tambourine Man,” or the nightmarish abstract poe… More >>

Bob Dylan,Do you just LOVE This song,”Forever Young (live)”?

Bob Dylan performing Forever Young at the David Letterman Show

World gone wrong was released: Oct 26, 1993
This performance aired on: Nov 18, 1993

Lyrics:

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

Is there a way to get the U2 (plus others) Amnesty Live Tour version of, “I Shall Be Released”?

I just don’t like the original that much. I don’t like Bob Dylan’s voice, and the instrumentals are a little too folk-y for me … I just overall prefer the U2 (plus others) Amnesty Live Tour version of it. Does anyone have a soundboard quality of it? I would really like to have it if I can’t buy it.

Do you Like This Song By -Joan Baez & Bob Dylan – “With god on our side “1963 live ?

Oh my name it is nothin’
My age it means less
The country I come from
Is called the Midwest
I’s taught and brought up there
The laws to abide
And that land that I live in
Has God on its side.

Oh the history books tell it
They tell it so well
The cavalries charged
The Indians fell
The cavalries charged
The Indians died
Oh the country was young
With God on its side.

Oh the Spanish-American
War had its day
And the Civil War too
Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
I’s made to memorize
With guns in their hands
And God on their side.

Oh the First World War, boys
It came and it went
The reason for fighting
I never did get
But I learned to accept it
Accept it with pride
For you don’t count the dead
When God’s on your side.

In a many dark hour
I’ve been thinkin’ about this
That Jesus Christ
Was betrayed by a kiss
But I can’t think for you
You’ll have to decide
Whether Judas Iscariot
Had God on his side.

So now as I’m leavin’
I’m weary as Hell
The confusion I’m feelin’
Ain’t no tongue can tell
The words fill my head
And fall to the floor
And if God’s on our side
He’ll stop the next war.

Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited song…where can I find tabs for the live version on “Before the Flood”?

I have used all kinds of search engines. I cannot find the tabs for the Before the Flood version of the Song, so can somebody help me? Sheet music will be fine, too. But not chords, as I know those. I’m talking about the riffs, licks and runs in there, and then the solo.

Remember,
Highway 61 Revisited
Before the Flood
Bob Dylan and the Band

If you’re really good by ear or can just find them somewhere on the internet, please tell me.

Let’s talk Bob Dylan: Have you seen him play live and what did you think of the concert?

I saw him play outside at a small venue one summer. He was very engaged in the performance, jovial and gracious to audience members who climbed on stage to dance, and played a mixture of old and new material for about two hours. He played long so when the scheduled T (the light rail train) passed the conductor stopped and opened the doors and windows so the passengers could enjoy which they did. It was one of the most unexpectedly amazing concerts I’ve seen.

Good or bad, what was your Dylan experience?

This Halloween gig at Philharmonic Hall in New York was a special part of the tour for Another Side of Bob Dylan, arguably his greatest acoustic recording. Bob Dylan Live 1975

Amazon.com
One of the many oddities of Bob Dylan’s long and unruly career has been the rather cursory recording treatment given his stint as ringleader of the Rolling Thunder Revue. It’s a shortcoming that’s rectified with the release of Live 1975. Prior to the appearance of this two-disc collection, Rolling Thunder’s eclectic road show was chronicled only in the infrequently screened, Dylan-directed Renaldo & Clara film and the bafflingly brief and one-note 1976 live set, Hard Rain. In contrast to its predecessor, this set, culled from four appearances made in November and December of ‘75, captures the breadth and subtleties of Dylan’s Rolling Thunder performances. “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here with You,” formerly a coda from Nas… More >>
