what do you major in if you would like to work for rolling stone magazine or any magazine?like do you become a photojournalist, or just a journalist? or what? what do the people working in rolling stone magazine major in when they were in college?

Bought a subscription to Rolling Stone and between the 90% of it that are political articles and a cover story every month about Bob Dylan (don’t get me wrong I’m a fan, just don’t like THAT much Dylan) I’m just sick of it…and on top of that RS is anti-Floyd.

I just listened to the song the other day actually paying attention to it, and it was pretty cool. The music of my parents is alot smarter than İ had previously imagined.

But İ don’t know what the song is about. Although it sounds a little like my predicament now.

To me it sounds like bob Dylan

I am not by any sense conservative or liberal and rather find myself hoovering inbetween but it seem that Rolling Stone political articles of recent years have been more on bashing Republican canidates and less on how politics affect mass media.
I have a subscription to the magazine and have noticed this trend for some time.
My question is whether they should even bother publishing these pieces, it’s not like their publication is where people go to be informed on politics anyways.

I am politically moderate, but I read Rolling Stone (a rather liberal magazine). They make some good points about issues in some articles. I would like to subscribe to a magazine that can offer an opposing view, just so i can stay happily in the middle or the 2 arguing sides. What is the best magazine to subscribe to for this?

If not,what song in your opinion should have be #1?

i know green day covered this song but idk where, was it on an album or a single, if you could let me know it would be a great help
