Sports, American Idol, Cartoons. What type of knowledge do you get out of watching these type of shows? I understand the entertainment value, but how about the large majority who watch this type of crap all the time. Isn’t knowledge the true wealth in life? It seems to me, if anything, television has transformed most of our American society into mind numbing couch potatoes. What do you think?

my brakes be changed in a few hundred miles or something and i was wondering if i should get original brakes or aftermarket brakes for my 1991 honda accord coupe.

the reason i want these aftermarket ones is because they have LESS sound and brake dust, which I really want to get rid of, but any cons of getting these brakes?

i wanna know if theres some medical or hypnosis, i dunno any way to like erase from the brain certain time in ur life, like one year, 2 months, erase from ur mind certain amount of time, so u could forget it?

After hearing a lot of classic Dylan, I was only moderately impressed with “Time Out of Mind.” I thought that it was okay, but it was nothing compared to say, “Bringing It All Back Home.” But that changed after listening to “Modern Times.” I just heard it today, and it hasn’t had much time to sink in, but I really feel like it’s one of the greatest albums ever made. The sheer level of musical talent mixed with Dylan’s new Captain Beefheart-esque growl… It’s incredible. I’d call it his fourth best that I’ve heard, after “Home”, “Freewheelin’” and “Blonde on Blonde.”

Sorry for the semi-rant. But what do you guys think?

It’s one for the records. Why do women call the towing company more often than guys when they have a flat and yet they want to be called equals? It’s not that hard to change a tyre, but I guess it is if you’re in heels and a mini. So leave the driving to US!

i have a 2.5 y.o son who is just consitently getting into trouble…purposely i think. he’s become very aggressive by hitting anyone and everyone when he doesn’t get his way. he’s in time out at his pre school almost everyday for not listening. my husband and i just don’t know what else to do!! for timeouts we first tried a chair. that didn’t work. he would just sit htere and hum. then we started putting him in his room. he would just start playing wih his toys. now i find myslef with little to no patience with him at all times and i feel like i’m constantly yelling at him. the worst thing is that when he does soemthing he knows he’s not suppose to, he’ll look inour direction and give us this smirk that says ” i just wanna see you explode”. aaagggrrrrhhhh!! any advice??
