I do not understand, why do women think you have to be married to have a kid? Because of morals? Times change, this isn’t the 18th century anymore, people change with the times. Why is it that single moms get frowned upon?

We all know there was a love-hate relationship there (at least expressed in his music) and that his songs about women were not always flattering. I would have to pick Just Like A Woman, simply for the phrase “she breaks just like a little girl.” There are so many to choose from; what’s your choice?
Note to Miss H: Bob did write some pure love songs and Sara was THE woman in his life without doubt; witness both beautiful songs Sad Eyed and Sara. In general tho Bob’s feelings about women in general, at least expressed in his music, at times leave a bittersweet taste

could anyone tell me what Dylan means in his Lyrics (Rainy day women) when he says ” They’ll stone you….” and “everybody must get stoned” (I’m not english nor american…)
—————-
Well, they’ll stone ya when you’re trying to be so good,
They’ll stone ya just a-like they said they would.
They’ll stone ya when you’re tryin’ to go home.
Then they’ll stone ya when you’re there all alone.
But I would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned.
Grateful Dead Bob Dylan 1987 tour
these are 2 songs from the alternative Dylan and the Dead album. I always considered Dylan a honorary member of the dead
